Hana Beaches
Hamoa Beach
Hamoa beach is a great place for kids to play in the ocean, with parental supervision of course.
Considered one of the jewels of the Pacific, the beach is accessed primarily via the Hana Highway, along the north shore of Maui. It’s only ten minutes from our villa.

Koki Beach
A mix of red, black and white sand, Koki beach is nestled on the eastern shore of Maui, just south of Hana.

Red Sand Beach
A great beauty on Eastern Maui Coast, this is a hippy beach. Be prepared to see naked people, red sand, and great snorkeling when the water is right.

The Secret Beach
We can’t write where this beach is located because it is and should remain one of those beaches where you will be the only people there. It’s also a good beach to collect shells. You must climb a rope to get down to it. The beach is safe, but not for small children.

Waianapanapa
A stop at this park for a couple of hours is highly recommended. This gorgeous volcanic black sand beach is located off the Hana Highway 360E in Waianapanapa State Park. The park features a camping area, sea caves, a natural stone arch, hiking trails, and pieces of the first road built around the island.
